Faves of 2011: The Books




All this week, one of my favourite book bloggers is running the Faves of 2011, a Book Award Thingy where you give shout outs to your favourite books read this year. Today is all about the books:

12. best under-appreciated, hidden gem book: Raw Blue by Kirsty Eagar


13. i-had-no-idea-i-would-love this-so award: Divergent by Veronica Roth


14. most haunting story: Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson


15. outside my comfort zone but gosh how i loved it: Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma


16. series that i’m loving: Wildefire by Karsten Knight

  1. What a great selection of books! Loved so many of them and a few are on my list too such as Beauty Queens, Lola, Divergent, Daughter of Smoke and Bone...

  2. So many people have WSW as their Best Achey Book, including me. I just love Adam and Mia!

    And you are right about Raw Blue being a hidden gem! I wish it was more readily available because it's amazing!

  5. There have been so many GREAT books I've read this year - Dogsled Dreams, Possession, Untraceable, Earthling Hero, Body Finder, Shade... So many!

    I LOVE pretty much all your answers (which are either faves of mine or books teetering on my TBR)

    you are good at these lists, hey. You sound so confident in your choices, haha.

    I reread Good Oil this year and loved it even more (though i did not think that was possible)
